The Catholic Commission for Justice and Peace in Zimbabwe (CCJP) is a commission under the Zimbabwe Catholic Bishop’s Conference (ZCBC). It was formed on 2 March 1972. Since then, this arm of the Catholic Church has been focusing on the promotion of human rights, justice and peace issues in Zimbabwe. Through research and documentation, CCJP has brought and continue to bring to the human rights violations that undermine the dignity of the human person.
Caritas Zimbabwe was founded in 1972 as the Commission for Social Services and Development (CSSD) by the then Rhodesian Catholic Bishops Conference to carry out the social work of the Church.
The Health Commission provides affordable quality and accessible Health Care to all, especially vulnerable groups, that uphold their dignity.
Social Communications is the Commission responsible for the promotion of the Church’s mission of evangelization through the Media. It is the church’s instrument for advocacy and public relations.
