Catholic Commission for Justice and Peace (CCJP)

The Catholic Commission for Justice and Peace in Zimbabwe (CCJP) is a commission under the Zimbabwe Catholic Bishop’s Conference (ZCBC). It was formed on 2 March 1972. Since then, this arm of the Catholic Church has been focusing on the promotion of human rights, justice and peace issues in Zimbabwe. Through research and documentation, CCJP has brought and continue to bring to the human rights violations that undermine the dignity of the human person.
